42nd Theatre and Dance Festival

San Javier Theatre and Dance Festival has become one of the oldest cultural events in the Region of Murcia and one of the summer musts offering new scenic, enriching and complementary visions.

Mar Menor and, more precisely, San Javier, will host in 2011 the 42nd edition of its Theatre and Dance Festival, which will offer, in Parque Almansa Auditorium, a wide and varied programme to be able to come up to the expectations of all the potential members of the audience.

Some of the shows included in this year’s programme are El Viaje de la Familia Iglúlik -Iglúlik Family’s Journey-, Macbeth, La Venganza de Don Mendo -Don Mendo’s Revenge-, Perséfone -Persephone- by Comediants, Fuenteovejuna, Palabras Encadenadas -Chained Words-, Cenicienta, el Musical -Cinderella, the Musical-, El Gorila -The Gorilla-, La Guerra de los Rose -The War of the Roses-, Los Dos Gemelos Venecianos -The Venetian Twins-, Lo Bueno Viene en Frascos Pequeños -Great Things Come in Small Packages-, and La Escuela de la Desobediencia -Disobedience School-.
