Free blues-rock concert in Mazarrón the 20th May

Free concert in the Salt Fish Museum

This weekend the International Day of the Museums attempts to encourage more of us to go and visit some of the Museums which exist across Europe.

To incentivise us to visit, many museums are holding concerts and activities during the next week .

In Mazarrón (Murcia) there is a free concert inside the atmospheric Roman Salt Fish factory museum which is down in the Port area.

The concert is by Fernando Rubio, an accomplished blues and rock guitarist, accompanied on vocals by Joaquín Talismán.

It takes place at 10pm on the 20th May in the Salt fish museum.

The Roman Salt fish museum is also open free of charge to visitors from Tuesday 17th to Sunday 22nd May between 10am and 1pm and 5pm and 8pm.

It´s an interesting little museum, explaining the processes used in the Roman and pre-Roman era to create the spicy fish sauces which were so much of a feature of Roman cuisine.  (By Networking)
